Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> Proposed Global Carrier Inc.■ Manteca, California 1rerracon <br /> August 8, 2018 s Terracon Project No. NA187034 <br /> 1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity <br /> In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed <br /> a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthTM. The vicinity of the site <br /> consists of industrial properties, agricultural land, and rural residences. The assumption was <br /> made that each building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we <br /> determined there is an average of 30 systems within 1/4 mile of the site. Refer to Section 1.3.5 for <br /> a history of septic permits in the site vicinity. <br /> 1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> Online septic permits available on the EHD website were reviewed for properties adjacent to the <br /> site. Leach lines are between 30 and 70 feet in length. <br /> 1.3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> Based on a review of the adjoining property permits, septic repair permits appear to be for <br /> additional leach lines to the existing septic systems.
