In the 2008 photo, no significant changes are apparent. <br /> These photos are included in Appen rxdiixd 3 of this report. <br /> 4.0 SITE INSPECTION <br /> Abigail Racco of Live Oak inspected the site on February 21, 2011. Photographs of the <br /> Site are attached to this report as Appendix 2. The perimeter of the Site was <br /> inspected, as well as all major features visible from the perimeter. The interiors of the <br /> structures were not inspected. <br /> The western half of the Site is an almond orchard; the northern portion has been <br /> recently.planted, while the southern portion has older trees. The eastern half of the Site <br /> is an open field. A field road separates the two halves of the Site; near the southern <br /> end of this, cement access boxes from an underground irrigation pipe can be seen. <br /> Two devices that look somewhat like windmills were observed in the orchard. <br /> .A gravel driveway leads from Highway 120 to the residence, shop, and garage. The <br /> domestic water well is located to the south of the shop building. A portable plastic tank <br /> for agricultural chemicals or amendments was observed in front of the shop. An <br /> irrigation well powered by an aboveground storage tank (AST) is located south of the <br /> driveway to the west of the residential area. Minor oil staining to soil was observed <br /> around the irrigation well. A-plastic jug of antifreeze was noted. A black plastic tank, <br /> which Mr. Kamps indicated is used for fertilizer, was located to the north of the well. <br /> Three pole-mounted transformers were observed in the vicinity of the irrigation well. All <br /> appeared relatively new, and one was labeled with a blue sticker indicating it is free of <br /> polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). <br /> A small burn pile containing wood was observed near the southwest corner of the Site. <br /> A large bum pile which also appeared to contain wood was observed ori the adjacent <br /> property to the immediate west. <br /> The adjacent land consists of orchards, vineyard, and rural residences. <br /> 5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 5.1 Interview with Property Owners <br /> Bob Kamps was interviewed by telephone on February 21, 2011. He indicated that he <br /> owns two-thirds of the Site; the remainder is owned by Randy Fondse, who lives in the <br /> LOGE 1108 Page 3 <br />
