• 7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators, Underground Storage
Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, Site Mitigation, and Leaking Underground
Storage Tanks lists dated August 2015, for facilities of concern within one-quarter
mile of the Site. The following facilities were identified within the search radius:
• 18608 E. Highway 120, Gus A. Quiroz, adjacent to north of Site according
to San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer (below). This facility is included
on the Hazardous Materials and Aboveground Storage Tanks databases.
Live Oak reviewed records on file for this facility at the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department. Based on these records, it
appears that Mr. Quiroz has a 200-gallon above-ground diesel tank.
There is no evidence that the subject Site has been impacted by this tank.
• 18666 E. Highway 120, Pat DePalma, adjacent to southeast of Site. This
facility is included on the Underground Storage Tanks database. Live Oak
reviewed records on file for this facility at the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department. The status of the second
tank is not discussed in the file, but a 1991 Underground Storage Tank
• Program information sheet indicates that no tanks are located at the
facility. There is no evidence that the subject Site has been impacted by
the tank(s).
Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer on June 25, 2016
for the Site and nearby facilities with hazardous materials inventories. The Site
was not listed. The following facility within one-quarter mile was identified:
• Gus A. Quiroz, 18608 E. Highway 120, depicted adjacent to north of Site.
No chemical inventory was provided.
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Water Well Data Table dated March 10, 2009 for nearby addresses that have
been tested for nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP). Six wells were
identified at addresses within approximately one mile of the subject Site. Four of
the wells had been tested for DBCP; it was detected in three of the wells, at
concentrations of 0.06 to 1.08 µg/L. All the wells had been tested for nitrate, it
was detected at concentrations of 19.6 to 135 mg/L. The Maximum Contaminant
Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate as NO3 is 45 mg/L. The MCL for
DBCP is 0.2 µg/L.
•
LOGE 1612 6
