The soil
suitability study was completed for this property per the requirements of San Joaquin County, Public
Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD).
The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils for each parcel are
suitable for use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of
Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work
included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San
Joaquin County,Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD).
In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a
septic system.
This format of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, the EHD's
Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003.
1.1 Site Description
The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 229-170-37, and the parcel is indicated to be
LODI ■ SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 902 Industrial Way,Lodi,(:alifornia 95240 ■209.367.3701 ■ 209.369.4228 ■www.noanderson.com
a.
