No <br /> change been noted in this document, and there has been no change in Updated EHD <br /> Envisions Programs Records, which are attached. <br /> 4. The only environmental concern based on EHD criteria is the domestic well that served <br /> the residence before connection to California Water Service. The well appears to be in- <br /> place with a gate valve on the outlet pipe and may be used for landscape irrigation. It has <br /> typically been the policy of EHD to have defunct domestic wells on properties that are <br /> served by a public water services to destroy these wells under permit, if they serve no <br /> purpose. This is particularly crucial if the well is an open casing in which contaminants <br /> could be poured, or migrate directly into the groundwater. However, the well is not an <br /> open casing. <br /> 5. Other items of an environmental de minimus concern were also noted such as one tire in <br /> the northeast corner of the property, concrete, wood, and plastic near the north-center of <br /> the property. These items are noted in the Photographic Plates. De minimus conditions <br /> generally do not present a material risk to public health or to the environment and <br /> generally would not include an enforcement action if observed by the appropriate <br /> governmental agencies. Conditions determined to be de minimus are not necessarily <br /> recognized as adverse environmental conditions. Household hazardous materials may be <br /> considered de minimus concerns particularly if there has been no spillage or dumping. No <br /> household hazardous materials were observed, nor was there any spillage or dumping on <br /> the observable soil surfaces.
