If the existing structures are to be renovated or demolished, a survey to detect lead-based paints and asbestos-containing materials should be conducted prior to any such activities. Any additional infrastructure or buried debris that may be encountered during site grading or Ldevelopment should be removed and disposed of in accordance with all applicable regulations. As the site is redeveloped, any stained soil or sources of contamination identified should be Lcharacterized and properly disposed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. L 6.0 LIMITATIONS This report was compiled as a Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report for the subject property. L This report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way warrants the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources. LIt should be noted that when an environmental assessment is completed without sample collection and quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site,as in this study,no statement of scientific L certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be the result of on-site or off- site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report are not scientific certainties, but rather, probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of the data gathered during ` the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site or adjoining land contains L no hazardous waste,oil,underground storage tanks,or other latent condition beyond that detected or observed by NOA during the Surface and Subsurface assessment. The possibility always exists for Lcontaminants to migrate through surface water,air,or groundwater. Our office has not been provided with specific criteria for the development of this report other than L a request to evaluate the property in question for possible problems related to toxic or hazardous agents, nor have we been directed to address any specific questions concerning the site. Should there be a need to conduct an investigation into a specific question not addressed in this report, contact our office Limmediately regarding your concerns. The ground surface was covered by large amounts of debris at the time of the site visit;consequently, Lany soil staining present on the property beneath these piles would not have been detectable.
