L <br /> LNovember 4,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05135A <br /> j <br /> L 3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board l3 <br /> NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST)list (October 2005), the Water Purt eyors <br /> Quarterly Report on MTBE(October 2005),and the Spills,Leaks,Investigations,and Cleanups(SLIC)list(V <br /> Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)'in <br /> an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release <br /> of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile <br /> Eradius of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases. <br /> ` Five sites were located within a one-quarter mile radius on the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks(LUST) <br /> list (October 2005);they are described as follows: <br /> LGrewal's Market 4100 Fremont Street Gasoline, case active. <br /> Blue Magic Products Inc 4445 Fremont Street Substance not recorded, case <br /> r closed,release only to soils. <br /> Camation/Nestle 4343 Fremont Street Hydrocarbons, case closed, <br /> release only to soils. <br /> v <br /> Noack Pumps 4500 Fremont Street Waste Oil, case closed,release <br /> only to soils. <br /> 6. <br /> Franklin High School 300 N. Gertrude Avenue Regular Gasoline,with MTBE, <br /> L case closed. <br /> The Grewal's Market at 4100 Fremont Street is the only open contamination case at the present. The <br /> 1 information on the Geotracker web sites for this site indicates that ground water is at 58 feet below the <br /> L ground surface and the samples analyzed on April 29, 2005 indicated that the levels of hydrocarbons / <br /> constituents are below the detection limits on site. The subject property is at least 800 feet away; (411�,J <br /> Ltherefore,the release at 4100 Fremont Street does not appear to impact the subject property at this time. <br /> L One site was located within a one quarter mile on the Water PurveyorsQuarterly Report on MTBE(October <br /> 2005);it is described as follows: <br /> Grewal's Market 4100 Fremont Street Groundwater impacted with <br /> MTBE greater than 5 ppb but <br /> less than 15 ppb. <br /> ` <br /> ' California Regional Water Quality Control Board,Sacramento,www.swrcb.ca.gov. <br /> Ls http://www.geotracker.swrcb.ca.gov/ <br /> 5 <br /> i <br /> '044 L <br /> L <br />
