General Plan Amendment Conclusion
The proposed General Plan Map Amendment does not appear to be
consistent with several of the General Plan Policies and Implementation
Measures as discussed above.
Water Policy (Board Resolution: R-91-973)
Any General Plan Amendment approved by the County shall not result in
increased demand upon the water supply available to San Joaquin County as
of April 2, 1991.
The policy shall apply to:
■ Any amendments to the new General Plan 2010 after adoption by the
Board of Supervisors.
• Documentation adequate to enable the Department of Public Works to
determine conformance with this policy shall be provided as required.
If the applicant files a full application, a water study shall be
submitted to the Department of Public Works.
PRE-APPLICATION DISCLAIMER
NOTE: The pre-application conference is designed to inform prospective
applicants of General Plan consistency, zoning consistency, public
improvement requirements, preliminary design constraints and opportunities,
and major environmental and safety issues. This information is provided in
the hope of assisting the applicant in submitting a better and more complete
application, as well as minimizing processing time. It is not intended to be
an in-depth analysis, and an environmental assessment is not completed.
The applicant should be aware that a detailed review will not be done until
the full application is submitted. Also, if new or additional information is
obtained, a revised application or Environmental Impact Report may be
required.
CL:vb
PA-0500871(GP)dcCL012506
Attachments
C: Roger E. & Ruth L.
