Union Pacific Railroad's concern with changing the zoning
from General Agriculture to Warehouse Industrial is the impact this may have to the
Eight Mile Road crossing of the Union Pacific Railroad's tracks.
An industrial operation could result in additional trucks crossing the tracks at the two-
lane Eight Mile Road crossing. Along with additional development proposed for this area
the volume of vehicles using this crossing will exceed the original design for the
crossing.
Union Pacific Railroad encourages San Joaquin County consider constructing a grade
separation of the railroad at Eight Mile Road. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you
have any questions or comments.
ery tru
l
y
yours,
tT t
mes H.
