Peltier Road ■ Acampo, California <br /> April 17, 2018 ■ Terracon Project No. NA177074 <br /> ■ Historical dairy operations 1940-1960; <br /> ■ Historical agricultural use 1930s row crops, 1960s to present vineyard; <br /> ■ Agricultural chemicals were stored, mixed, rinsed, and applied on the site; <br /> ■ History of petroleum hydrocarbon use from as early as 1960s; <br /> ■ A 500-gallon gasoline UST was located on the site and reportedly removed in the <br /> 1970s or 1980s; <br /> ■ Onsite septic system for residence and former restroom; <br /> ■ A plugged and partially abandoned dry gas well is located on the site; and <br /> ■ A diesel release occurred on the site. <br /> 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> The following above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from current uses of the site: <br /> s Agricultural chemicals continue to be stored, mixed, rinsed, and applied on the <br /> site; <br /> ■ Petroleum hydrocarbons continue to be stored and used on the site; <br /> ■ Equipment maintenance occurs on the site; <br /> ■ An active 1,000-gallon diesel AST is located on the site; <br /> s An inactive 1,000-gallon diesel AST is located on the site; <br /> ■ A bum pile area containing wood and vegetation is located on the site; <br /> ■ Four pole mounted transformers potentially containing PCBs are located on the <br /> site; <br /> s Staining less than three square feet in diameter was observed on concrete in <br /> Shop 1 and Shop 3; <br /> ■ Staining on soil near 55-gallon waste oil drum and empty 5-gallon containers <br /> west of Shop 2; <br /> ■ A septic system is located on the site <br /> ■ One interior floor drain is located in the former break room; <br /> ■ One sump is located on the site; <br /> ■ One air compressor; and <br /> ■ Two agricultural groundwater wells and one domestic well are located on the site. <br /> 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> The following above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from past uses of the surrounding properties: <br /> ■ Surrounding properties have been used for agriculture in the past; agricultural <br /> chemicals may have been applied to these properties. <br /> Responsive ■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 10 <br />
