Curtis <br /> Civil Engineer <br /> C.E. # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone: (209) 368-4159 <br /> June 30 , 1993 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study for the Michael and Elizabeth Tax <br /> property which consists of dividing an existing parcel <br /> totaling 13 . 1 acres gross into two parcels , (Parcel I to <br /> contain 5 .0 acres gross , and Parcel 2 to contain 8 . 1 <br /> acres gross) . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the Michael and <br /> Elizabeth Tax property located in San Joaquin County at 10675 East <br /> Peltier Road, Acampo, California 95220 . <br /> Existin¢ Septic System: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County Records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property. A total of eleven ( 11 ) permits were reviewed. <br /> No permits were found for the subject property. <br /> Six (6 ) of the eleven ( 11 ) permits reviewed were for initial <br /> installations . Three (3) of the initial installations involved a <br /> combination of leach lines and pits . The pits varied from 33" to <br /> 42" in diameter and all were 25 ' in depth. Two of the initial <br /> installations involved a combination of leach lines and drainage <br /> reservoirs (sumps) . In addition a permit for a Labor Camp was also <br /> reviewed and involved installing a 10 ' X 45 ' X 2 ' drainage <br /> reservoir (sump) . <br /> Three (3) of the eleven (11 ) permits reviewed were for adding <br /> features to the existing facilities . One ( 1 ) of the three (3) <br /> permits involved adding a leach line and a 10 ' X 12 ' X 2 ' drainage <br /> reservoir (sump) . Another permit was for adding a leach line and a <br /> pit , 33" in diameter and 25 ' deep. The remaining permit was for <br /> adding a leach line and a septic tank. <br /> Two ( 2) of the eleven ( 11 ) permits reviewed were for making <br /> changes to the existing septic systems . One ( 1 ) of the two (2) <br /> permits involved abandoning the existing septic system and <br /> Michael and Elizabeth Tax MS-92-190 , Parcel Nos . 1 & 2 <br />
