MS 99-14
APN: 007-370-14
The project is located on Peltier Road, north side, at 11019. The study is to determine if the site
will support residential housing with respect to on-site septic systems. The San Joaquin County
Sewage Standards, dated 11/96 and the San Joaquin Development Title are applicable to this
development.
SITE BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The area was a grape vineyard. All vines have long been removed. The land was disced and
grape vines burned on site. Trash has been hauled away. (Photos show 1999 condition)The
Agricultural Commissioner's Office reported on 5-20-99 negative results for a file check on
chemical use by permit. The access for all parcels is along the proposed 50'road to the
remainder. Parcel 1 has an existing driveway from Peltier which served the residence. (Residence
destroyed by fire).
GROUNDWATER INFORMATION
Groundwater elevation as determined by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District Maps(1992) show 110 feet on lines of equal depth of water wells for this
area. The existing water well is no longer served by a functional power source. A water sample
was taken from a residence on the south side of Peltier and being the first house west of the site
and the test results from FGL are attached. The results are satisfactory.(DBCP and Nitrate)
SOIL PROFILE AND PERCOLATION TESTING
A 6" boring was drilled to a depth of 10'to determine the soil structure and a 25'boring was
completed on Parcel 1. The predominate classification is clay. The percolation tests indicate a
standard septic system installed in accordance with San Joaquin County Ordinances should
function satisfactorily, if maintained properly. Parcel 1 appears to have a more dense layer of
hardpan than Parcel 2,3 &4. The existing spVtir, systemParcel 1 should be abandoned b
permit or examined by a contractor to determine the condition of the tank and leach field.
SEPTIC REPAIRS OF RECORD
L,,ja 51 IiL»o f ✓
A document search could not be made at EHD, as the equipment was not working, listings in
our files from previous research are shown below:
PERMIT ADDRESS REMARKS 1
11411 E.
