Based on this source, it appears that, of the agricultural chemicals reportedly applied to the subject property, only those containing chlorpyrifos and fenpropathrin are RUPs. The U.C. Davis Extension Toxicology Network (EXTOXNET) web site'o and the Pesticide Management Education Program (PMEP) at Cornell University web site" were consulted for additional information on these chemicals. According to EXTOXNET, chlorpyrifos is toxicity class II - moderately toxic. The EPA has established a 24-hour reentry interval for crop areas treated with emulsifiable concentrate or wettable powder formulations of chlorpyrifos unless workers wear protective clothing. Products containing chlorpyrifos bear the Signal Word WARNING or CAUTION, depending on the toxicity of the formulation. According to the PMEP, fenpropathrin has a reported half- life of 33 to 34 days under aerobic soil conditions. "The end-use product (Danitol 2.4 EC Spray) has moderate to low acute oral, dermal, inhalation and eye/skin irritation toxicity... Because of the physical properties of fenpropathrin, ... it is unlikely that fenpropathrin or its metabolites can leach to potable groundwater." V3.1.5 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System Four agricultural wells are located on the subject property. The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on December 16, 2008 in an effort to obtain copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property; the following permits were found: Date Address Oestri 'on 6-26-1975 1/8 mi.
