One permit
was found for the installation of a 2,000 gallon septic tank utilizing five 80 foot leach lines and five
25 foot by 36 inch seepage pits. The permit was issued to Earl Watson on July 8, 1993. The second
permit is described below.
/3.3 On-Site Septic System Repair Permit History
One septic repair permit was found for the Site during file review at EHD on July 25, 2006. The
permit was for the repair of a system with a 1600 gallon septic tank, two 40 foot leach lines and two
25 foot by 36 inch seepage pits. The permit was issued to Sun Seeds on August 17, 1995 and does
not describe what the specific repair was for the system.
3.4 Existing Septic System Usage in the Vicinity
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the Site, our office reviewed
a 1993 aerial photograph of the subject property available from Microsoft Terraserver. We counted
the building clusters within one square mile of the Site, and made the assumption that each building
cluster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there are a minimum of 40
septic systems per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site. We assume in addition to 40
septic systems in 1993, there may have been additional growth.
The general area consists of agriculture with a few residences.
►— ,/3.5 Septic System Permit History in the Vicinity
The following septic system permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at
EHD on July 25, 2006:
bon
hm
om
3
ba
