Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study incorporating proposed <br /> staff and students' use, indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be <br /> performed prior to issuance of a grading/building permit(s) (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s) approval. Samples are to be <br /> taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory(San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9- <br /> 1110.4). <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
