PA-0300597 OF SYLVESTER <br /> MILLER (C/O BROTHERHOOD YOUTH RIDERS) (APN: 179-120-08) <br /> (ADDRESS: 3110 S POCK LANE, STOCKTON) <br /> The project is a Site Approval application to establish a riding stable for a maximum of <br /> twenty (20) horses (Use Type: Stable-Commercial). The stable is proposed as a facility <br /> that caters to youths who participate in the daily operations of the stable (feeding, <br /> cleaning, riding, etc.). The facility also has a number of geese and sheep on site that <br /> are not included as part of the project. The 25.55-acre parcel is located on the east side <br /> of Pock Lane, 1150 feet north of Carpenter Road, Stockton. The parcel has a General <br /> Plan designation of R/L (Residential-Low Density) and is zoned AU-20 (Agriculture- <br /> Urban Reserve, 20 acre minimum). <br /> Buildings <br /> The project includes the use of the following existing buildings totaling 5,460 square feet <br /> as shown on the Site Plan: <br /> • One 600 square foot shop <br /> • Four buildings used for a total of 18 horse stalls totaling 2,916 square feet <br /> • Two buildings used for tack shops totaling 696 square feet <br /> • Two buildings used for hay/feed storage totaling 816 square feet <br /> • Three horse arenas, each having a 50 foot diameter <br /> • One 432 square foot office. <br /> A site visit revealed a number of buildings located on the property that appear to be used <br /> for housing horses. The applicant should clarify whether these buildings are proposed <br /> as part of the project. The buildings dedicated to the housing of sheep and geese do not <br /> need to be included as part of the project. <br /> 1 <br />
