The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to <br /> the Building Inspection Division : <br /> a . The proposed buildings shall be provided with an <br /> automatic fire sprinkler system or divided into areas <br /> less than 6 , 000 square feet by area separation walls . <br /> b. Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access <br /> requirements ( C.A.C. , Title 24 ) . <br /> 2. A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division <br /> prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material : <br /> a . A grading plan shall contain the information listed in <br /> the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70 , Section 7006 ( d ) . <br /> b. The grading plan shall include complete drainage <br /> details and elevations of the adjacent parcels . <br /> Retaining wall details shall be submitted where <br /> applicable . <br /> Planning Division <br /> UP-88-32 <br /> August 22 , 1988 <br /> Page Two <br /> C . Grading in excess of 5 , 000 cubic yards shall comply <br /> with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading <br /> Requirements . " <br /> d. All recommendations of the soils/project engineer shall <br /> be incorporated in the grading plans . <br /> e . All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a <br /> foundation inspection . <br /> 3 . The Construction site shall indicate the following : <br /> a . Provide parking for the physically handicapped . The <br /> space ( s ) shall be located as close as possible to the <br /> primary entrance (C. A.C, Title 24 ) . <br /> b. Provide identification signs for the parking spaces <br /> including the " tow away" sign at each entrance or <br /> visible from each space ( C.A. C, Title 24 ) . <br /> C . The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch <br /> per foot ( C.A.C, Title 24 ) . <br /> JH/mds <br />
