Weber Ave., Third Floor
Stockton, California 95202
Re: University Public School
Morada Shopping Center, Hwy. 99 Frontage Road
Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Huggins:
In accordance with our meeting on Monday June 21, and subsequent phone conversation today,
we are in the process of performing the following:
1. I have contacted Mr. Don Chesney, Quality Control Inspection Inc., to perform a
percolation test on our proposed new septic system location. He will additionally inspect
the existing septic leach pits for blockage of the septic lines upon conferring with you to
address your specific concerns.
2. Mr. Chance Wong, Wong Engineer's, will be calculating the waste flow of the
existing businesses in the adjacent building. He will also show a designated "replacement
field" for the existing septic system in case it should fail in the future.
3. Mr. Joe Wagner, University Public Schools, will forward to your office a letter from
the property owner agreeing to accept responsibility for the existing septic system, and
to address your specific concerns regarding it.
I have contacted Mr. Mike Clark from Clark Well Inc. Mr. Clark is familiar with the well on
site, having serviced it for the property owner for several years. It is his opinion the well was
originally installed prior the county ordinance requiring a sanitary seal, and thus one is probably
not installed. Additionally, Mr. Clark believes only a new well would perform the water demand
required by San Joaquin County Fire Prevention Bureau and our domestic use.
I am currently working with Mr. Roger Lutzow, Alpine Fire Prevention, to determine the
required fire flow for the sprinkler system, and will be discussing the overall fire flow demands
with Mr. Steve Dalton, San Joaquin County Fire Marshall.
The results of all the above actions will be forwarded to your office for review, comment and
record.
Hugguns2.ltr
4 South Central Court Stockton, California 95204 209 943-0405 209 943-0415 Fax
