M � 5.2 Description of soil profile pit including depth and dimensions: The shallow test hole was prepared per County Standards. The hole was excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in diameter. It was backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel." F, 5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using F industry standard protocol: The soil in this area is classified as Jack Tone Clay as stated in the Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, California as provided by the United States Department of (4� Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service. I 5.4 Discussion of soil lithology as related to future onsite septic uses: The Jack Tone Clay has slow permeability thus; the percolation rate was 17.8 min/in on the hole that met County (664) criteria. One test hole failed to meet passing criteria. F: F 6.3 Description of the Date, Time and Protocol Used to Prepare the Test Hole, Including Depth and Dimensions of Hole, Preparation of Hole, and Depth of Water Used to Presoak (Minimum 12 Inches): The shallow test hole was excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in diameter and backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel" in accordance with County Standards. The shallow hole was prepared by Shaun Mackey of Dillon &Murphy on April 1, 3� 2007 at 3:00 p.m. On April 9, 2007 at 7:30 a.m. the 24 hour presoak period was started. The hole was filled with 12 inches of water over the gravel at this time.
