i
3.2 Description of All Past On-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground
Sources of Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Past on-site potentials for
contamination are low. The property has been used for commercial purposes for more than 10
years. Historically there have been no underground storage tanks. The owner has no
Fi knowledge of above ground storage of chemicals on the subject parcel. A search for use
reports and permits did not yield any concerns for sources of contamination. (See Appendix).
F3.3 Description of All Current On-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below
Ground Sources of Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Presently there are no
underground storage tanks on the property and visual inspection did not produce any evidence
of buried containers, as well as no odors that would be associated with buried chemical tanks.
There are no storage tanks above ground. There are no above ground fuel tanks on the site. 01
The site contains an existing pond. There are no drainage courses through the property. The
fallow portion of the site contains its own storm runoff. The commercial portion of the
property has an existing storm drainage system.
Fit'
3.4 Description of All Past Off-Site Potential and/or Known p o Above and Below Ground
Sources of Contamination Identified in the Area of the Project Site: Past off-site potential
for contamination is low. The subject parcel is located in a mixed rural residential and
commercial community. The residential and commercial properties have historically been
served by septic systems.
3.5 Description of all Present Off-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below
Ground Sources of Contamination Identified in the Area of the Project Site: Present
F off-site potential for contamination is low. There is no knowledge of below ground sources (3450
of contamination in the area of the project site that has or may impact the project site. The
surrounding properties are served by septic systems and public water.0
4.0 EVALUATION OF PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF
F CONTAMINATION IDENTIFIED AT OR NEAR THE SITE AND
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FURTHER ACTION:
4.1 Evaluation of Each Potential and/or Known Source of Contamination Identified for
F.F any Real and/or Potential Threat to Human Health and the Environment: The depth to
ground water in this area is approximately 80 feet. Due to this depth, any pesticides, LY 0
insecticides, and fertilizers used on the property in the past or present would have a minimal
impact to the ground water.
5.0 CONCLUSIONS S ONS A ND RECOMMENDATIONS SECTION:
F5.1 Discussion of the Above Evaluation: There are no chemical containers for fuel storage
tanks on this site; thus the potential for contamination is low. As was stated above, any S J .
F pesticides, insecticides, and fertilizers used on the site do not pose any significant potential for
.. contamination to the project site, and no mitigation measures are recommended.
F2
F' CA051431Surface and Subsurface March, 2007
f
