a. This facility has experienced many septic system failures over the years. The <br /> Environmental Health Division is requiring the applicant to obtain the services of <br /> a Registered Civil Engineer to design an adequate septic disposal system for the <br /> entire facility. Prior to the issuance of building permits, a nitrate loading study by <br /> a qualified Registered Civil Engineer is required which indicates that adequate <br /> area is available for this facility based on the proposed occupancy and use. A <br /> review fee of $390 shall be paid at the time of submittal to the Environmental <br /> Health Division. <br /> b. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of <br /> San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption <br /> rates of the manual of septic tank practice of the EPA Design Manual for on-site <br /> wastewater treatment and disposal systems is required. A permit fee of $78 per <br /> percolation hole is required. <br /> c. Submit three sets of food facility plans for all food preparation and serving areas <br /> to the Environmental Health Division for review and approval prior to the <br /> issuance of building permits. <br /> JVB:vb <br /> UP0008 <br /> C: Neil & Tracy Pollard <br />
