Phase one to
contain the truck terminal facility including 3,528 square foot operations building, 864
square foot office, and 221 parking stalls and 11 employee/visitor parking spaces. Phase
two will contain an additional 128 parking stalls. The project site is located on the north
side of Eight Mile Road, 1600' east of Micke Grove Road, north of Stockton.
This project will have a significant impact on our facilities. A traffic study will be
required to determine cumulative effects of this project at build-out to the State Route
99/Eight Mile Road Ramps intersections and on/off ramps. This analysis should include
the relevant information found in Caltrans' Guide to the Preparation of Traffic Impact
Studies. Please keep in mind, that by following the information found in Caltrans' Guide
to the Preparation of Traffic Impact Studies, December 2002 the review process can
move swiftly and assist in expediently addressing issues that affect the State Highway
System.
As a condition of approval for this map the county should collect impact fees on a fair
share basis for future improvements to State Route 99/Eight Mile Road Ramps
intersections and on/off ramps.
Please forward all Final Conditions of Approval including any mitigation's that are being
requested as well as any other documents and staff reports on this proposed project for
our review, comments, and records.
"Caltrans improves mobility across California"
