1 <br /> Department of Conservation-The Department of Conservation submitted a letter dated October 11, <br /> 2007 recommending postponing the Lot Line Adjustment until the neighboring parcel to the west is out of <br /> contract. The applicant has agreed to postpone the Lot Line Adjustment. <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control-The Department of Toxic Substances Control submitted a <br /> letter dated September 8, 2008 recommending the area be tested for pesticides used on the proposed <br /> development site. Tim Miles, Hazardous Substances Scientist, indicated the department is concerned <br /> with pesticides used from former agricultural operations. The applicant indicated the project site was <br /> once used to grow alfalfa but is now grazing land. Tim Miles stated alfalfa is not an agricultural operation <br /> of concern. <br /> Caltrans- Caltrans submitted a letter dated August 20, 2008 regarding the evaluation of the traffic study. <br /> The Department of Public Works has reviewed the Caltrans letter. The Traffic Study meets County <br /> standards and all relevant comments have been incorporated as Conditions of Approval. <br /> City.of Stockton- The City.of Stockton Public Works Department submitted a letter dated July 25, 2007, <br /> and stated that access should be limited to the proposed Eight Mile Road location due to sight distance <br /> 4 limitations and other traffic design variables.
