Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be
modified.
A. Environmental Health Division has received and reviewed a Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading
Study dated April 3, 2001, related to this project. The results of the study indicated that a
wastewater treatment plant that incorporates denitrification in the final effluent would be
required because of impacts to groundwater from the proposed project.
B. Environmental Health Division requires plans and specifications for an Engineered
Wastewater Treatment Plant be submitted to our office with a review fee of$445.00, due at
time of submittal (San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors Resolution 90-620). A
Registered Engineer must design and sign the plans (San Joaquin County Development Title,
Section 9-1105.2).
C. Environmental Health Division requires the construction of the Engineered Wastewater
Treatment Plant be under permit and inspection at the time of development. A permit fee of
$890.00 is due with the permit application (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section
9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4).
D. State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees, students and visitors the
sewage disposal system is being designed for.
