VI. GROUNDWATER
Groundwater tests were not performed as there are no existing wells on site. The
County Health Department has records of water tests on nearby wells.
VII. CONCLUSION
Based on the results of the percolation tests and the soil profile, it is Dillon &
Murphy's opinion that the existing is suited for a typical on-site sewage disposal system. The
proposed system, however, should be properly designed and installed according to the current
San Joaquin County criteria.
It should be noted that the location of the percolation test was chosen near the proposed
disposal field.
Based on the depth to ground water in the area, and the size of the proposed parcels, it
is our opinion that the installation of any new proposed septic systems, if properly installed,
should not adversely affect the quality of ground water in the area.
VIII. LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the
proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed
at the time we excavated our test hole and performed the percolation test. It was assumed that
the test hole and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the
general area.
Our services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in
accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices. This warranty is in
lieu of all other warranties either expressed or implied. Test findings and statements of
professional opinion do not constitute a guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied.
Very truly yours,
DILLON & MURPHY
Jo urphy
E. 45,277
-2-
