I '
CONC-i t WSl4NS —A—D RECOMMENDATIONS
CONCLUSIONS
The site groundwater has now been monitored for twenty (20) consecutive quarters.
The groundwater samples were compared to the Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLS)
set forth by the applicable guidelines established by the State of California
Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Environmental Protection
Agency. The MCL's were used in the absence of water quality criteria established by the
RJdQC6.
The concentration of Nitrate as N in the groundwater monitoring wells at the site,-has
ranged from 0.2 mg!! to 52.8 mg/I. Background Nitrate level this quarter in Ml A was
0.8 mg/l. No data is available for down gradient wells.
The concentration of TDS has ranged from 310 mg/I to 520 mg/l. The background TDS
concentration this quarter in MWA was 450 mg/I. No data is available for down gradient
wells.
The concentration of Ec has ranged from 314 8 pmhos/cm to 1138 pmhosfcm. The
bac ",round Ec concentration uiis quarter in M.^!-1 `,RFas 653 ;mhos/c!'!t!. No data is
available for down gradient wells.
Figures normally included in the quarterly reports to the RWQCB, showing the general
direction of groundwater gradients, Ec and Nitrate concentrations could not be
generated from the data available this quarter.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is revo:l':t3a^did that the frgque -ne-v of monitoring change from quarterly to semi-
annually. This recommendation is based on the consistency of results recorded at the
site.
3
d .
Gt;cK3uc•ti5&1BOCUltENF'vCtuf7+:-.arrT,r.-,,"::.:G,.w:SSSa.LCCc
ii
