(3) Each automobile parking stall shall be an unobstructed rectangle, minimum nine (9) feet wide <br /> and twenty(20)feet long. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[b]) <br /> (4) Parking spaces for persons with disability shall be provided as required by Chapters 11A and <br /> 11 B of the California Building Code. <br /> • Truck Parking <br /> (5) All parking spaces and all major circulation drive lanes shall be surfaced and permanently <br /> maintained with a minimum of two (2) inches of asphalt concrete over an appropriate base. <br /> Bumper guards shall be provided when necessary to protect adjacent structures or properties. <br /> All other areas that are used for vehicular traffic shall be surfaced and permanently maintained <br /> with a chip seal.Aggregate base may be used for trailer storage areas. <br /> (6) A minimum of sixty-three (63) truck parking spaces shall be provided for Phase One. No <br /> additional truck parking spaces are required for Phase Two. <br /> (7) Spaces shall be a minimum of fifty(50)feet in length and twelve(12)feet in width and shall have <br /> a minimum height clearance of fourteen (14)feet. (Development Title Section 9-1015.9) <br /> (8) Spaces shall be provided and maintained on the same lot as the commercial or industrial use. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.6[c][2]) <br /> (9) Spaces shall not interfere with vehicular circulation or parking, or with pedestrian circulation. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.6[c][3]) <br /> f. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following requirements apply and shall be shown on the Site <br /> Plan: <br /> (1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five (25)feet for two-way aisles and <br /> sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, except that in no case shall driveways designated as fire <br /> department access be less than twenty (20) feet wide. (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1015.5[h][1]) <br /> (2) Driveway width at the ultimate right-of-way shall be forty (40) feet maximum. The design of the <br /> driveway shall allow trucks to enter and exit the property without entering into the opposing lane <br /> of traffic(Development Title Section 9-505.7) <br /> (3) Access gates shall be recessed from the property line a minimum of sixty-five (65) feet. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-505.7[d]) <br /> (4) Adequate maneuvering and parking areas of automobiles and trucks shall be located on the site <br /> of the truck terminal. (Development Title Section 9-505.7[e]) <br /> (5) Aisles between truck parking areas shall be a minimum of fifty-five(55)feet wide. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-1015.6[d][2]) <br /> g. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following; <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the <br /> property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares, provided, however, that such <br /> light shall not cause a hazard to motorists.
