HIGHWAY 99 FRONTAGE ROAD <br /> ACAMPO, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> OUR PROJECT NUMBER: NA177026 <br /> Our office was contracted by Mr. Reggie Katzakian to conduct a Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading <br /> Study (SS/NLS) for the property at 22420 N. Highway 99, Acampo, San Joaquin, California. The <br /> formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, EHD Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated September 25, 2007, and Nitrate Loading Study <br /> Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.0 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> 1.1 Introduction and Development <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are suitable for <br /> septic system usage. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work <br /> included conducting percolation tests that meet absorption rates as specified by San Joaquin <br /> County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). A review of published <br /> soil information, geologic maps, and groundwater information was also performed. <br /> 1.1.1 Site Description <br /> The site is located on an approximately 3.59 acre tract of land (APN 013-190-05) located at 22420 <br /> N. Highway 99, Acampo, San Joaquin, California. The site currently consists of vacant land. <br /> Peltier abuts the site to the north followed by vacant land and a vineyard. The Highway 99 <br /> Frontage Road abuts the site to the west followed by a vineyard. The Highway 99 southbound <br /> on/off ramps abut the site to the east and south with a residence to the southeast. Highway 99 <br /> abuts the site to the east followed by residential and/or commercial properties. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer the site is zoned I-T which is defined by the <br /> San Joaquin County Community Development Department Zoning Codes as a truck terminal <br /> zone "intended to provide a location outside Urban Communities and within easy access of a <br /> freeway for truck terminals'. <br /> • Responsive r: Resourceful r Reliable 3 <br />
