Leach lines are between 50 and 80 feet in length and seepage <br /> pits are between 3.5 to 4 feet in diameter by 20 to 25 feet deep. <br /> 1.3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> Based on the EHD file review, one septic repair permit in the vicinity appears to be for replacement <br /> of a septic tank and the addition of leach lines and/or sumps. The septic repair permit SR0065688 <br /> can be found in Appendix C of this report. <br />• 1.3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage <br /> In response to a SSNLS Questionnaire, Mr. Joe Murphy, of Dillon & Murphy indicated the <br /> proposed new trucking business will be open 24 hours per day seven days per week from August <br /> to December each year. Mr. Murphy indicated the business will be closed from January through <br /> July. There will be up to 12 permanent employees working three eight hour shifts per day (4 <br /> employees per shift) and up to 4 visitors and 63 truckers anticipated daily. The restrooms will <br /> consist of 4 sinks and 4 low-flow toilets. The septic system design should be based on the San <br /> Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater Disposal Standards or other engineering recommendations. <br /> Based on a usage of 15 gallons per person per 8 hour shift as specified in San Joaquin County <br /> EHD Onsite Wastewater Disposal Standards and the proposed usage, the facility can have a <br /> maximum daily usage of 515 gallons per day (15 gallons per 12 employees per day and 67 <br />• <br /> Responsive n Resourceful Reliable 6 <br />
