Refer to Section 1.4.3. <br /> 1.4.5 Groundwater Sample Handling <br /> Not applicable. Refer to Section 1.4.3. <br /> 1.5 General Geologic Information and Soil Profile <br /> The site is depicted on the Geologic Map of California 2010, as within generalized quaternary <br /> Pleistocene and Holocene deposits which are comprised primarily of alluvium, lake, playa, and <br /> terrace deposits; unconsolidated and semi-consolidated. Mostly nonmarine, but includes marine <br /> deposits near the coast. <br /> 1.5.1 Soil Boring Locations <br /> Percolation test borings P1 and P2 were located near the north-northwestern portion of the site. <br /> P1 was located in the proposed leach field and P2 was located in the proposed replacement area. <br /> Refer to Appendix A, Exhibit 2 for the boring locations. <br /> 1.5.2 Soil Boring Dimensions <br /> The percolation test borings (P1 and P2) were advanced with a 6 inch diameter hollow stem <br /> auger. P1 was advanced to a depth of 25.0 feet bgs and P2 was advanced to a depth of 3.5 feet <br />' bgs.
