Weber Avenue, Third Floor
Stockton, CA 95202-2708
NEW COFFEE SHOP FACILITY,ACAMPO, SAN JOA QUIN COUNTY
Staff have reviewed the Soil Suitability Nitrate Loading Study prepared by Neil O. Anderson and
Associates, Inc. for the facility at 24155 North Highway 99 in Acampo, San Joaquin County and
determined the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department should be the lead agency for
regulation of wastewater discharge at the site.
Wastewater will be generated at the facility in the following activities: kitchen food production, kitchen
utensil washing, and restroom generated wastewater. The report describes a wastewater generation rate
of approximately 732 gallons per day. Because the flow rate and wastewater strength is anticipated to be
approximately equal to a single family residence, the Regional Board is delegating wastewater discharge
oversight for the facility to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
In the future, if the wastewater characteristics change either from a higher flow rate or addition of new
products that create higher strength wastewater, or if the system as designed is inadequate for the
wastewater treatment, then the Regional Board will reconsider issuing Waste Discharge Requirements
for the facility.
Please call me at (916) 255-3116 if you have any questions on this information.
TIMOTHY R.
