Hwy 99 Acampo, CA
Dear Mr. Meeks,
Our office was requested by Mark Morton of Morton SBD, Inc. to determine if leach lines
could be placed deeper than 36 inches not to exceed a maximum depth of 48 inches. In addition,
we were asked to clarify if the use of seepage pits is acceptable.
Upon review of the report and boring log, the placement of the leach lines to 48 inches is
acceptable. The use of seepage pits is acceptable since the site is fairly confined. We understand
that the bottom of the trench will be over cut an additional 12 inches and backfilled with 12 inches
of peat material. We believe the addition of the peat will greatly benefit the performance of the
septic system.
Very Truly Yours,
NEIL O. ANDERSON & ASSOC., INC.
David J.
