The domestic well should be destroyed
due to its proximity to the contamination. A new well must be installed according to
the Land Use Program staff specifications.
A water sample from the domestic well was collected by AGE on October 26, 1999.
The analytical results of the water sample (faxed to PHS/EHD on November 8, 1999)
were non-detected for TPH-g, MTBE, and BTEX.
Meeting Summary
A meeting was held on November 8, 1999 at the office of the PHS/EHD building. In
attendance were you, Bob Marty from AGE, and Jeffrey Wong and Adrienne
Ellsaesser of PHS/EHD.
PHS/EHD agreed that the domestic well does not have to be destroyed and a new well
installed before issuing land use permits under the condition that the monitoring wells
and domestic wells be sampled and analyzed on a quarterly basis and the quarterly
reports submitted to PHS/EHD. However, the domestic well will have to be
destroyed and a new one installed on site if future investigative information indicates
this is necessary.
If you have any questions or there are any corrections in the responsible party
information, contact Jeffrey Wong at (209) 468-0335.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
C(
Jeffrey Wong, REHS Margare Lagorio, REHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit Supervisor
c: RWQCB, Central Valley Region - Mark List
c: Advanced GeoEnvironmental - Bob Marty
