PA-0800016 OF U.S. XPRESS <br /> (APN: 179-171-32) (ADDRESS: 3798 S STATE ROUTE HWY 99 E. FRONTAGE <br /> ROAD, STOCKTON, CA 95215) <br /> This project is a Site Approval application for an expansion of an existing truck parking facility <br /> for an additional six trucks and an additional twenty trailers. (Use Type: Truck Sales and <br /> Services- Parking). U.S. Xpress currently operates on this site with a total of nine (9) trucks and <br /> fifteen (15) trailers. <br /> The parcel is zoned I-L (Limited Industrial) with a General Plan designation of I/L (Limited <br /> Industrial). <br /> The project is located on the east side of State Route Highway 99 E. Frontage Road, 980 feet <br /> north of Clark Drive, south of Stockton. <br /> The Community Development Department has reviewed this application and has the following <br /> comments: <br /> Background <br /> SA-95-0026 was approved on September 19, 1995 to construct a 5,000 square foot building to <br /> be occupied by uses permitted in the I-L zone. However, the approval did not include the <br /> parcel's easterly 350 feet. The applicant is applying for a Site Approval to permit truck parking <br /> on the remaining portion of the parcel. <br /> Access and Circulation <br /> Development Title Section 9-1015.5(h)(1) states, "Access driveways shall have a width of no <br /> less than twenty-five (25) feet for two-way aisles and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles except <br /> that in no case shall driveways designated as fire department access be less than twenty (20) feet <br /> wide." <br />
