The site is
located within the Southwest 4 of Section 18, Township 3 North,
Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian.
This property and the surrounding area is zoned AG-40 (Agri-
cultural) . The topography of this location is very flat with a
gradient of approximately 0. 0011, sloping northeast to southwest.
There are no waterways or drainage channels crossing the property.
The topographic soils map prepared by the University of Cali-
fornia, Berkeley, indicates the site is covered by Hanford sandy
loam with calcareous subsoil . For several years, the subject
property has been used as pasture. Prior to that time, the land
was used for the cultivation of row crops. The latest San Joaquin
County Water Conservation District maps reveal the standing water
level of the subject site to be at a depth of approximately thirty
(301 ) feet. This relates to a groundwater elevation of approxi-
mately -15 feet.
Attached is a copy of a percolation test performed on
January 4 , 1991 by R. W. Siegfried & Associates, Consulting Civil
Engineers. Both test holes reveal that the surface soils are
underlain by sandy, calcareous soils at a depth of approximately
three (31 ) feet. The observed percolation rates are 20 . 8 and 125 . 0
minutes per inch for test holes 1 and 2 , respectively. Per Mr.
Mike Huggins, San Joaquin County Public Health Services Supervising
Environmental Health Specialist, an average percolation rate of
72 . 9 minutes per inch shall be assumed.
(Cont 'd. )
MAIN OFFICE 4045 CORONADO AVENUE STOCKTON.CALIFORNIA 95204-2396 Telephone(209)943-2021 FAX Telephone(209)942-0214
TRACY BRANCH OFFICE 3120 TRACY BOULEVARD.SUITE D TRACY.CALIFORNIA 95376-1719 Telephone(209)635-5300
