2 -
San Joaquin County January 16, 1991
Attn: Mr. Jim Miller
Subject: Minor Subdivision Application No. MS-91-31
Soil Suitability Study
Within a radius of one-fourth (;) mile of the subject proper-
ty, there are eight (8) existing residences, including a house and
a mobile home on the subject site. There is no history of septic
system failures in this area. It is the opinion of the undersigned
that the soil conditions are suitable for the purpose of the
subject application, which is to create a 3-acre site for the
existing residence with an existing septic system, leaving a 17-
acre remainder parcel which will be continued in the present
agricultural usage and as a site for an existing mobile home with
an existing septic system. Within the past twelve (12) years,
Environmental Health Permit Numbers 79-1058 and 88-2591 have been
issued for the existing septic systems.
In consideration of the fact that the subject minor subdivi-
sion application will not provide for additional new septic tank
systems, it is the opinion of the undersigned that the subject
application will not have an adverse cumulative effect on the
quality of the groundwater in the area. Our professional opinion
is that the above findings and statements do not constitute either
an expressed or implied guarantee or warranty.
Very truly yours,
R. W.
