• Past Uses of the Site
Based on information reviewed for the Surface & Subsurface Contamination Report
(Live Oak, 2016), the Site has been used for agriculture since 1940 or earlier. Mr.
Dambacher indicated that the,'
main house was built in 1947, the secondary house in
1985, the garage in 1990, and the_fatger shop in 1998 or 1999. He did not know the
construction date of themobile_h—a but indicated that it was moved to its current
location when the levee was rebuilt in 1993.
Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage
Existing Septic System
Three septic systems are currently located on the Site, one for each house.
Proposed Septic System
The septic system for the secondary house is currently being relocated; in its original
configuration, it had crossed the proposed parcel line. No other construction is planned.
On-Site Septic Permit History
Live Oak searched the septic system permits on file at the San Joaquin County
• Environmental Health Department; three septic permits were identified for the Site
addresses.
• October 1980 permit for new septic system at mobile home. The system utilized
a 1,200-gallon tank and two 80-foot leach lines. This appears to be the system
for the mobile home that was relocated in 1993.
• March 1985 permit for new septic system at small house (secondary residence).
The system utilized a, 1,200-gallon tank and one 90-foot leach line> A two-
bedroom house, mobile home, storage building, and two wells are also depicted.
• August 1993 permit for new septic system due to relocation of mobile home. The
system utilized a 1,200-gallon tank and two 100-foot leach lines.
These permits are included in Appendix 4 of this report.
Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
To estimate the existing septic system usage in the area, our office counted septic
systems located within approximately one square mile surrounding the property. Aerial
imagery from Google Earth was used. Each building cluster on the photograph was
assumed to have one septic system. Using this method, it is estimated that 39 or more
septic systems per square mile are present in the immediate vicinity of the Site.
• The general area consists of agricultural land, orchards, and rural residences.
LOGE 1801 Page 2
