The soil suitability study was completed <br /> for San Joaquin Environmental Health Department (EHD) requirements. <br /> LThe soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> L 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by the San Joaquin <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> LIn addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> septic system. <br /> L The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> Ir <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> LThe Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 132-070-06. The parcel is approximately 5 <br /> acres in size (Plate 1). The county application number is pending.
