"The history <br /> and past uses in the project area to assess potential problems, " <br /> (C-4) : <br /> Referenre is made to Plate I of this report which shows <br /> the location of the proposed parcel to be split. <br /> Currently, the majority of the site area consists of <br /> agricultural land with scattered farm houses. <br /> On December 10, 1990, a representative of our firm <br /> visited 6 residences located off Nile and Oleander <br /> Avenues. The purpose of our visits was to obtain <br /> information on septic system use and to inquire about any <br /> problems known to exist with this method of sewage <br /> disposal . None of the residences visited reported having <br /> problems with the performance of their septic systems. <br /> The ages of the septic systems were reported to be from <br /> 10 to 35 years old. One of the residents questioned <br /> indicated that their well produced "hard" water. The <br /> other residents questioned indicated that their wells <br /> produced "good" water. <br /> ITEM C-2 : <br /> "Suitability of soil for development utilizing septic systems. " <br /> On December 5, 1990, a representative of our firm <br /> drilled and set-up 1 3-foot deep percolation test hole <br /> at the approximate location shown on Plate I.
