The property is located on Northland Road
approximately I/4 mile west of Austin Road, northeast of Manteca in San Joaquin County,
California. A plot plan and vicinity map showing the approximate location of the property are
presented on Plate I.
A preliminary plan provided to our firm indicates that an approximate 1.5-acre parcel will be
spilt off of lilt„approxiIliate 40-acre properly. residence, JJeI', and Septic sySte "c `Z d
1 septic J JLLLLY 4L:i L'...Ei41..i
on the proposed "parcel 2" and we have assumed that they will remain. We have also assumed
that construction on the proposed "parcel 1" will be limited to one single-family residence with
one septic system. Additional details of the proposed project are not known to our firm at this
time.
This report is to satisfy San Joaquin County requirements as described in Ordinance No. 3323,
Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 9-10100, Item C. Our scope of services was outlined in our
proposal dated January 21, 1993. Our services were initiated based on your written
authorization of January 26, 1993. The items listed under Item C of the above ordinance are
listed below, along with our responses.
ITEMS C-1 AND C-4:
"The intensity and extent of the existing and the proposed development on septic tanks within
and around the area;" (C-1). "The history of past uses in the project area to assess potential
problems;" (C-4):
Reference is made to Plate I of this report which shows the location of the Brandow
property. At the time of our field explorations, the majority of the property
contained an almond orchard. Residences with associated outbuildings, wells, and
septic systems were located east and west of the property and along Northland and
Austin Roads.
Copyright 1993 Kleinfelder, Inc. fTr /?
