THE THE
TRACTIOY TRACTION
CO CENTRAL CALIFORNIA TRACTION COMPANY CO
2201 West Washington Street # 12
Stockton, CA 95203
209-466-6927 Fax 209466-1204
CCT also must request the developer not put any landscaping within 250 feet of
either side of the crossing that could interfere with drivers light of sight when
crossing the tracks. CCT would recommend in fact the Quashnick Road not be
made a crossing for this subdivision but instead require the developer to route all
traffic out to Eight Mile road which currently has Active warning devices
consisting of Flashing lights and Gates and the Crossing surface is already
concrete.
CCT must again stress that this is an active railroad corridor that has been in
place for 105 years and there will be impacts on the proposed development with
train operations and noise from the required train horns that must be sounded for
the road crossing in the area. CCT is a 2417 operation.
CCT would like to thank the County and the Committee for allowing input into the
planning process.
I can be reached at 209-466-6927 Ext. 11
Thank you;
Dave Buccolo
General Manager
SAFETY PAYS USE IT"CRY DAY 2
