3.7 Description of Proposed or Expected Maximum (including second unit dwellings) septic tank <br /> usage on site. There is one abandoned house. There are no immediate plans for any more dwellings. <br /> 4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION: <br /> 4.1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to ground <br /> ` water in this area is approximately 20 feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal Depth to <br /> Groundwater" published Spring, 1999, by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water <br /> r. <br /> Conservation District. <br /> 4.2 Description/Discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination issues in <br /> the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this area are deemed <br /> moderate due to the depths involved. Insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers typically do not impact <br /> groundwater at these depths, however, as with any agricultural area, there is always potential for <br /> contamination due to chemicals used in the farming operation. <br /> 4.3 Description of location, type and construction of well and location where water sample(s) were <br /> obtained: Water samples were taken from a spigot at the well located at 15792 N. Ray Road on <br /> February 14, 2008 by Jake Handel of Dillon &Murphy. <br /> _ ✓ 4.4 Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples are being <br /> tested for nitrates and DBCP. <br /> c/ 4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab: The water <br /> samples were obtained from the spigot at the well located at 15792 N. Ray Road. The samples were taken <br /> by Jake Handel of Dillon &Murphy, and driven directly to Precision Enviro-Tech. The samples were <br /> taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech requirements. The results from the test can <br /> be found in the Appendix. <br /> t/ 4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third party <br /> sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the lab. For <br /> Laboratory samplers, complete laboratory report to include the above noted information: The <br /> complete chain of custody document is located in the Appendix. <br /> 5.0 SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION: <br /> 5.1 Site map showing location, with dimensions, of the soil profile pit on the parcel: See Appendix. <br /> V5.2 Description of soil profile pit including depth and dimensions: The shallow test holes were <br /> prepared per County Standards. The holes were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in <br /> diameter. They were backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel'. <br /> 5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using industry <br /> standard protocol: The soil in this area is classified as Acampo and Devries Sandy Loam as stated in <br /> the Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, California as provided by the United States Department of <br /> Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service. <br /> MOP2 <br /> c:\0799\Soil Suitability Report 032008 <br />
