Additional information <br /> on these products was obtained from U.C. Davis Extension Toxicology Network <br /> (EXTOXNET): <br /> Paraquat dichloride (Gramoxone Max) is a quartenary nitrogen herbicide used to control <br /> broadleaf weeds. It is highly toxic to animals b all routes of exposure. Paraquat has a <br /> g Y Y p q <br /> half-life in soil of 16 months to 13 years; it binds strongly to soil particles, and bound <br /> residues can persist indefinitely. <br /> Lambda-cyhalothrin (Warrior with Zeon) is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide and <br /> acaricide with a moderate oral toxicity. It has a half-life of four to 12 weeks in soil and a <br /> very low water solubility. <br /> Copies of the Agricultural Commissioner's records are included in Appendix 5. <br /> 7.5 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources Maps <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) Online <br /> Mapping System (DOMS) was queried on March 20, 2011 for mapped oil or gas wells (3 � <br /> within one-quarter mile of the subject Site. One plugged gas well was identified <br /> adjacent to the west of the Site.
