The informa 'on c ained in the report is intended to e information required by Section 9-1105 of San Joaquin County Ordinance, in connection with a proposed new septic sewage system to be constructed on the site. The study is needed to determine if the onsite soils are adequate to handle effluent from the septic system and whether nitrates from I the efflue g a t the underlying groundwater. The property is currently the site a t o residence ,.each with an existing septic sewage system. The inform on�liA ssed in this report includes the results of a recently ' Fill conducted percolation test, a description of on-site soils, sample analytical results from the on-site domestic water well and general information regarding Ffthe soil and groundwater from publicly available sources. Calculations are made to estimate the total nitrate load from septic tank effluent. 1.1 Site Description The site is an irregularly shaped parcel with a total area of about 55,518 square feet (1.27 acres). It is in rur-G- esidential use, and according to the County GIS mapping item, is zoned 0. The site is identified by the County assessor as Parcel 247-90- In th and survey grid it hes in the SES/ of Section 17 of T2S, R9E,,M &M. It is situated along the south side of River Road about 1,000 feet west of its intersection with McHenry Avenue.
