Previously Approved Conditions <br /> Quarry Excavation Application No. PA-0500403 was approved by the Planning Commission on <br /> September 1, 2005. The effective date of approval is September 11, 2005 . This approval will expire <br /> on March 13, 2007 ,which is 18 months from the date of approval, unless (1) all Conditions of <br /> Approval have been complied with, (2) all necessary building permits have been secured and remain <br /> in force, and (3) all necessary permits from other agencies have been secured and remain in force. <br /> Unless otherwise specified, all Conditions of Approval and ordinance requirements shall be fulfilled <br /> prior to the establishment of the use and the issuance of any building permits. Those Conditions <br /> followed by a Section Number have been identified as ordinance requirements pertinent to this <br /> application. Ordinance requirements cannot be modified; and, other ordinance requirements may <br /> apply- <br /> 1 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT (Staff Contact: Karla Kuhl, 468-3103) <br /> a APPROVAL: This is an approval to remove 150,000 cubic yards of rock, sand and gravel in one <br /> phase over four(4)years, as shown on the site plan dated August 23, 2005. The approval includes <br /> the Reclamation Plan dated August 12, 2005. All of the materials excavated shall be processed at <br /> the existing facility (QX-89-002). The excavation process shall be completed by December 31, 2009. <br /> The site shall be fully reclaimed by December 31, 2009 <br /> b STOCKPILING: No stockpiled soil or material shall be placed closer than twenty-five (25) feet to a <br /> property boundary. (Development Title Section 9-1415.3[b]) <br /> c PRIVATE ROADS: All private roads involved in an excavation shall be maintained so as to control <br /> the creation of dust The first one hundred (100) feet of any private road on the property which <br /> intersects with a publicly maintained road shall be surfaced in a manner approved by the Director. <br /> Traffic-control and warning signs shall be installed, if required, at such intersection. The placement <br /> and size of these signs shall be approved by the Director of Public Works. (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1415.3[c]) <br /> d. EROSION CONTROL: Protective vegetative planting, silt screen dams, or other approved methods <br /> shall be required where necessary for the control of erosion. An erosion and sediment control plan <br /> approved by Development Services Division shall be part of the reclamation plan. (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1415.3[d]) <br /> e. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: Standards contained in Chapter 9-1025 shall be met unless <br /> otherwise modified by conditions of the Quarry Excavation Permit. (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1415.3[e]) <br /> I, HOURS OF OPERATION: Excavation operations shall be carried on during the hours from 5:00 <br /> a.m. and 9:00 p.m. (Development Title Section 9-1415.3[f]) <br /> g. REPLACEMENT OF TOPSOIL: The topsoil shall be set aside, and upon completion of an <br /> excavation, the topsoil shall be replaced and the site leveled in conformance with the excavation <br /> permit.
