Riviera Estates Page 5 Our Project Number: E07092A June 26,2007 3.1.3 San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES) website6 was searched on May 31, 2007 in an attempt to determine whether a hazardous materials inventory is on file for the subject property. No records were found for the subject property. According to Michelle Halliwell? of the OES, there were no records found for properties within one-quarter mile of the subject property. 3.1.5 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on May 31, 2007 in an effort to obtain / copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property; no permits were (3 found. 3.1.6 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map 6068 was reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. 3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on June 6, 2007. Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. The subject property was observed to be two parcels (Parcels 20 & 21). A home with typical residential landscaping was observed on Parcel 20. This parcel was bordered with a wrought iron/masonry wall along the north and east sides. A chain link fence divided the property from the adjacent property along the west side. An in-ground swimming pool was observed on the property at the north side of the home. A covered parking area bordered the home on the west side. A concrete patio and landscaping were observed on the east side of the home. A large asphalt area covered most of the property to the north. The southern portion of the property was landscaped with grass and ornamental plants. A loading dock equipped with electric motors extended into the San Joaquin River. Parcel 21 was observed to be a vacant lot with some seasonal grasses. The property appeared to be recently disked. A driveway and temporary chain link fence bordered the property to the north.
