Riviera Estates Page 6 Our Project Number: E07092A June 26,2007 One pole-mounted transformer was observed on Parcel 20 along the north side of the driveway entrance to the property. A blue PCB-free sticker was not observed on the transformer, and no staining was evident. Two pole-mounted transformers were observed on the adjacent property bordering Parcel 21 to the west. A blue PCB-free sticker was not observed on either transformer. No staining was evident on the northern most transformer; however, the southern most transformer was black and appeared old. Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of the subject property was Riviera Drive and residences. To the east was the Stockton Golf & Country Club. To the west was a residence. To the south was the San Joaquin River and Rough & Ready Island. The San Joaquin River had no visible surface contamination. 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the site. 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of the site. 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from past uses of the surrounding sites, with the exception of the following: • Rough & Ready Island was a known naval facility. 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination No above- or below-ground off-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from current uses of surrounding sites, except for the following: • Rough & Ready Island is a known source of contamination. • The San Joaquin River is a known shipping channel.
