May 5, 2005 NOA Project Number: E05057A 3.2 On-Site Septic Permit History No septic permits were found for the Site during file review at EHD on April 6, 2005. 3.3 On-Site Septic Repair Permit History Two septic repair permits were found for the Site during file review at EHD on April 6, 2005. The first permit is dated 10/17/1969; this permit is for the repair/addition of one 70 foot leach line to the residential system,The second permit, dated 8/30/2001,is for the repair/addition of one 80 foot leach line and for one 1,200 gal septic tank to the residential system. 3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the Site, our office reviewed a 2002 aerial photograph of the subject property available from Microsoft Terraserver. We counted the building clusters within one square mile of the Site, and made the assumption that each building cluster has one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there are a minimum of 18 _ septic system per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site. '— The general use of the vicinity is farmland. There are few residences in the area. 3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity The following septic system permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at EHD on April 6, 2005: Table 1.
