Roth Road. The City Council directed staff to request that the
following conditions be added should you approve the request:
1. That an 8 foot high sound wall be built along the north property line.
2. That 56 feet of right-of-way from the centerline of Roth Road be dedicated for future
street purposes.
3. That, prior to any use of the property for the permitted use, the property owner
execute an annexation agreement, in a form acceptable to the City, agreeing to annex
the property to the City of Lathrop upon demand of the City.
I understand that this latter request may be a new one for the County, however, it is common
practice in other Stanislaus County. The proposal would result in development within
Lathrop's Sphere of Influence and, while we would prefer no deveiopment until after
annexation, the zoning of this property allows development. Since development is to occur,
the City would like some assurance that this property will eventually annex.
Sincerely,
CAt-c
Pamela R.
