Hazleton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205
Sent via Fax to (209) 468-3163
RE: PA-0500725
Dear Ms. Allen,
The San Joaquin Farm Bureau opposes this application for a Neighborhood Religious Assembly
in the Agricultural Zone.
We are concerned with the placement of a public facility in an area surrounded by active
agriculture production. This project may infringe on the ability of farmers to conduct normal
farming practices and therefore negate the spirit of the right-to-farm ordinance. Such public
facilities do not aid in the production or processing of agricultural goods and services.
Alternative land use zones exist for such establishments that do not place a burden on
agricultural production.
Please keep us informed of any further actions and any information that may be provided by staff
concerning this matter.
Sincerely,
Tom Orvis
Program Director
3290 NORTH AD ART ROAD•(209) 931-4931 •STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA 95215
